For some, teaching is a matter of destiny. From their interests and lifestyle, it’s hard to believe they could be anything but teachers. Are you one of these people? Read on to see if you exhibit some of the traits of being a teacher.

  1. You’ve seen "Lean on Me" more than 10 times.
  2. Your mom, sister, grandpa, and aunt are teachers.
  3. You used to "play school" during recess.
  4. You’re constantly on the phone helping friends and family understand various problems.
  5. You take away peoples’ toys when they misbehave.
  6. You’ve been homeschooling your kids for years-even though they’re already in school.
  7. You can’t stand working in the summertime. (Who can, though?)
  8. You prefer that people call you Mrs. or Mr. Your Last Name instead of your first name.
  9. You’re the one in charge at book club.
  10. You’re happy to work hard hours for little pay.
